We are back on US 64. We will be on it all day as we travel across Arkansas. Our goal is Lake Dardanelle State Park by early evening.
It was a pleasant drive. We saw more cotton fields and fields we believe had been where rice was grown.
There were also crops we could not identify.
Soybeans?
As we traveled west we noticed the farm land changed from large field crops to smaller family farms and livestock. We passed through a number of interesting towns such as Morrilton, AR.
We made Lake Dardanelle State Park by early evening. It is a beautiful campground beside the lake.
The Lake Dardanelle Visitor Center had 4 large aquariums with of examples local fishes. We spent quite a bit of time there before leaving.
